ASCII Media Works published 25 novels from November 2002 to October 2011 under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. The story focuses on Yuji Sakai, a high school boy who inadvertently becomes involved in an age-old conflict between forces of balance and imbalance in existence. In the process, he befriends a fighter for the balancing force and names her "Shana". The series incorporates fantasy and slice of life elements into its tale.

Feature film "Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society 3D" and the animated TV series "Hipira" were honored at the first International 3D Awards Lumiere Japan organized by, the Japan Committee of the International 3D Society (I3DS).
The awards, announced late last month, are meant to recognize outstanding content using stereoscopic 3-D technology in 12 categories such as film, television and advertising. The Japanese committee, which was also established this year, took part in the selection process with I3DS member companies and industry professionals.

A manga adaptation of the series and two spin-off manga series, Puella Magi Kazumi Magica: The Innocent Malice and Puella Magi Oriko Magica, are published by Houbunsha. A novelisation by Nitroplus was released in August 2011. A video game for the PlayStation Portable will be released in March 2012.

This is the two companies' second time collaborating together after Chaos;Head. A port to the Windows operating system on the PC was released on August 26, 2010 and a port for Sony's PlayStation Portable handheld game console was released on June 23, 2011. The game is described by the development team as a "hypothetical science ADV" (想定科学ADV). The gameplay in Steins;Gate follows a linear plot line which offers pre-determined scenarios with courses of interaction.

The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross (紳士同盟†, Shinshi Dōmei Kurosu) is a shojo manga series written and illustrated by Arina Tanemura, who also created the anime series called Full Moon o Sagashite which came out in April 06, 2002 and ended March 29, 2003. The Gentlemen's Alliance Cross premiered in the September 2004 issue of Ribon, running until the June 2008 issue. The 47 chapters were collected and published in 11 tankōbon volumes by Shueisha.
The series is licensed for English language release in North America by Viz Media which published the first volume on March 6, 2007. The eleventh and final volume was released in English in April 2010.

Time Stranger Kyoko (時空異邦人KYOKO, Jikuu Ihou Jin Kyoko) is a manga series written and illustrated by Arina Tanemura. Originally serialized in Ribon from the September 2000 issue to the September 2001 issue, the individual chapters were collected and published in three tankōbon volumes in Japan by Shueisha. Viz Media licensed the series for an English-language version in North America, releasing the first volume in July 2008; the third and final volume was released in January 2009.
An eleven-minute-long original video animation (OVA) based on the manga series, Time Stranger Kyoko: Leave it to Chocola, was released in Japan in 2001 at Shuiesha's "Ribon Festival". Produced by Production I.G, Transarts and directed by Masatsugu Arakawa, the OVA centers on the character Chocola.
