Sket Dance (スケット・ダンス, Suketto Dansu) is a manga series written and illustrated by Kenta Shinohara and serialized in Shueisha's manga magazine Weekly Shōnen Jump.
Sket Dance won the 55th annual Shogakukan Manga Award in 2009 for best shōnen manga. An anime adaption has been green-lit for next spring.

Chi's Sweet Home / Japanese Manga

Chi's Sweet Home (チーズスイートホーム, chīzu suīto hōmu) is a manga series written and illustrated by Konami Kanata. It has been serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine Weekly Morning since 2004. The manga has been licensed for North American distribution by Vertical Inc.
To date, it has been collected in seven volumes, the most recent being published in April 2009. An anime adaptation began airing on 31 March 2008 and is produced by studio Madhouse.

Tachikawa the next Akihabara for anime fans

Tachikawa, an area in Tokyo's western reaches, has fans of anime seeing things.
Many are flocking to see the "real" locations that inspired scenes in their favorite television animation series.

Next to the Akihabara district of central Tokyo, the area around JR Tachikawa Station is most often used for background settings in "Toaru Majutsu no Kinsho Mokuroku" (Index of a certain magic) and its spin-off, "Toaru Kagaku no Cho-denjiho" (Railgun of a certain science), both animated TV series.

Japan's Largest Pokémon Shop to Open in Osaka

The new Pokemon Center Osaka, the largest Pokémon shop in Japan, will open on November 26. The shop will take up about 830 square meters (about 8,900 square feet), or roughly the area of two basketball courts, of the 13th floor at the remodeled Daimaru Umeda department store.
The store will carry over 2,500 kinds of Pokémon goods — including exclusive ones to commemorate the opening. There will also be a "union room" where Pokémon fans can meet, and Pokémon card game tournaments and other events are planned.

Silver Soul (銀魂/Gintama)

Silver Soul (銀魂, Gintama) is a Japanese manga written and illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi and serialized, beginning in December 8, 2003, in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.
Set in an Edo which has been conquered by aliens named Amanto, the plot follows life from the point of view of samurai Gintoki Sakata, who works as a freelancer alongside his friends Shinpachi Shimura and Kagura in order to pay the monthly rent. Sorachi added the science fiction setting to develop characters to his liking after his editor suggested doing a historical series.

Manga artist Tezuka's notebooks to be published in December

Notebooks that manga wizard Osamu Tezuka (1928-1989) used to jot down plots for "Kimba the White Lion" and other renowned works more than six decades ago will be published next month.
Tezuka is widely regarded as "the father of manga" in Japan. The notebooks will be published by Shogakukan Creative Inc. on Dec. 24.

Futaba-kun Change (ふたば君チェンジ, Futaba-kun Chenji) is a 8 volumes manga series by Hiroshi Aro. Fast-paced, madcap and relatively mature in themes, it's usually comedic, with occasional elements of romance. It was serialized in Monthly Shōnen Jump in Japan, but it is now out of print.
It was licensed by Studio Ironcat in the U.S., but as the company went out of business their release is also out of print.
