Anime and manga fans have the chance to meet up and mingle this summer, thanks to New York City's annual street fair.  The New York City Japan Fair will be debuting this year at the Daytop Madison Avenue Festival on August 23, 2009, come rain or shine, from 11:00 to 6:00.

Twentieth Century Fox's "Dragonball: Evolution," a live-action flick based on the popular Japanese anime cartoon, is now available on DVD. And, although there are no current plans to do so, everyone knows it is only a matter of time before "Pokemon" becomes a live-action feature film.
At least a live-action "Pokemon" movie would include a few fascinating special effects with respect to Pikachu and Squirtle. "Dragonball: Evolution" relies on air-bending, magical orbs and a couple of flying cars. They are not the most stunning visuals. ...
